Kohl's wanted a show-stopping back-to-school campaign with cross-generational appeal. Headed up by rock legend Lenny Kravitz, we united people in their love of denim and convinced teens and moms that Kohl's is the best place to go for on-trend fashion brands. TV spots drove consumers to a microsite where they could shop different collections and gain access to exclusive content like interviews with the artists and behind-the-scenes videos. Tying it all together was the slogan, "Inspired By Artists, Worn By You" to emphasize the personal style connection between celebrity and individual.
